Lived History
Following the path of Saint Willibrord you enter the cathedral and crypt of Echternach. The side streets then invite you to make an excursion to Vianden, where the Middle Ages are still alive and omnipresent. You stroll through narrow alleys and get to sit high above the city in the chair lift. The medieval castle sits enthroned above the city. Already familiar with the Little Switzerland of Luxembourg? If not, you should definitely plan for a long hiking trip into the Müllerthal valley, with its astonishing landscape shaped by erosion.
